I am a retired scientist with a lifetime interest in photography. Since my retirement a couple of years ago the technical quality of my images has improved considerably. I attribute that to three main reasons.
(1) I recently moved over to the Sony mirrorless camera system. I finally am happy when I “pixel peep”.
(2) I have more time to take/process/critique my images.
(3) I have attended workshops by world class photographic teachers.
Part of my previous job was to “predict the future” of human-technical interfaces. That sometimes strayed into the “art” domain in the aspect of stimulating and challenging human perception.
An aim of this web site is to stimulate discussion about how to “move on” from paper prints on walls.
How can we make the interaction experience better?
